The online MoU signing ceremony between Shanghai Open University (SOU) and St. Jude College Dasmarinas Cavite Inc. (SJCDC) was held on October 12, 2020. Zhang Jin, vice president of SOU and Evangeline A. Del Rosario, president and CEO of SJCDC delivered speeches on behalf of the University.

SJCDC is located at Cavite, the Philippines, which offers education from preschool to graduate level. It also has a St. Jude General Hospital& Medical Center. The signing of the MoU is a good start for the cooperation between the two universities. It is hoped that the two sides will give play to their respective advantages, carry out the cooperation of substantive projects, strengthen the communication between teachers and students, and promote academic development, especially the cooperation in the field of home economics and other feature specialties, so as to promote the improvement of the international running level of the two universities.
