On 18 September, a delegation led by Praweena Ausayo，the official from the Ministry of Education of Thailand and Chaiyosh Imsuwan，who is a lifelong education expert visited SOU.

During the symposium, leaders from Shanghai University for the Elderly warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the current status and development of senior education in Shanghai. Praweena Ausayo fully affirmed the achievements Shanghai University for the Elderly has made and shared the experience of Thailand in open education. Both sides also had an in-depth discussion on future cooperation and exchange in senior education.

The delegation visited the Silver Hair e-Classroom on campus, observed and experienced themed courses such as tea culture and calligraphy, and went to the Qinzhou Academy of Shanghai University for the Elderly to gain a deeper understanding of the development of senior education and the construction of smart teaching environments.
